August is here, and we have a fun (and very busy!) month ahead. We can’t wait to spend it with all of our favorite pups!

Boarding Updates

Just a reminder that we are not accepting new boarding clients until after Labor Day Weekend. We are already nearly full every weekend this month, so if you need boarding, please reach out as soon as possible so we can get your pup on the schedule!

New Weekend Hours

Our new weekend lobby hours officially begin today!

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We’re excited to offer more flexibility for drop-offs and pick-ups while we prepare for our brand-new lobby expansion this fall! The new space next door will include retail that’s open to both our daycare families and the public.

If your reservation was made before our new hours were announced and you need to stick with your original drop-off or pick-up time, just let us know. Otherwise, we’ll plan for arrivals and departures during our new 9–5 hours.

Retail & Payment Reminder

As we continue adding retail to our lobby, here’s a quick heads-up!

Since sales tax only applies to merchandise and retail items, we don’t keep coin change in our register. To keep checkout quick and simple, totals for retail purchases paid with cash will be rounded to the nearest dollar.

A 3.5% credit card processing fee still applies to credit card purchases. To avoid that fee, you’re always welcome to pay with:

Labor Day Weekend is filling up FAST!

Holiday boarding rates are now in effect. These updated rates help us provide additional staffing, extended weekend flexibility, and allow us to accommodate more pups safely over busy holiday weekends.

Owner Out of Office

I’ll be out of the office August 12–16, and again August 27–28.

The good news? Daycare will continue as normal!

The only services affected will be bathing and grooming Wednesday through Friday while I’m away, since I won’t be in the building to help. Our amazing team has been doing an incredible job, and I’m so thankful for all of them. We’re excited to keep expanding our services while I’m away instead of closing them down like we’ve had to in the past.

Thank you all for your patience, support, and trust as we continue to grow. We truly have the best clients (and the best pups!), and we’re working every day to make Puckett’s Pups even better.

Expansion Update

The moment we’ve been waiting for is almost here!

If everything goes according to plan, construction on our expansion begins August 19th once permits are finalized. We cannot wait to share the progress with you all and give your pups an even bigger and better home away from home.
