July 2026
Dear Puckett’s Pups Families,
First and foremost, thank you for trusting us with your dogs. Because of your continued support over the past several years, Puckett’s Pups has grown beyond what I ever imagined. Every decision we make is with one goal in mind: providing the safest, highest-quality care possible while continuing to improve your experience as our client.
Beginning July 1, you’ll notice a few updates to our pricing and policies. I wanted to personally explain why we’re making these changes.
These updates aren’t simply about changing prices or policies—they’re about building a business that can offer more convenience, more flexibility, and an even higher level of care for years to come.
Our vision has always been to offer more than daycare, boarding, and grooming. We strive to provide a premium experience where every dog receives individualized attention in a safe, clean, and enriching environment from a team that truly loves what they do.
One of our biggest goals is increasing flexibility for our clients. Beginning August 1, our weekend lobby hours will expand to 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Looking ahead, my goal for this summer and fall is to transition to 7:00 AM–7:00 PM weekday hours as well. I know many of our clients have busy schedules, and these expanded hours will make drop-offs and pick-ups much more convenient.
To make that possible, we’re investing in additional staffing and restructuring how we schedule our team. These changes are designed to set us up for long-term success so we can continue expanding our availability without sacrificing the quality of care your dogs receive. As we become more flexible for our clients, we ask that parents also help us by being mindful of the reservation times they select and communicating any schedule changes as early as possible. Our team is scheduled around those reservations, and staying on schedule allows us to continue providing exceptional care for every dog in our facility.
You’ll also notice an update to our boarding pricing structure. Since opening nearly five years ago, we’ve operated using a 24-hour boarding rate. As we’ve continued to grow, we’ve found that this structure no longer reflects the care many dogs receive on their departure day.
Beginning July 1, ALL afternoon boarding pick-ups will include a half-day daycare fee. Dogs staying into the afternoon, whether they were dropped off in the morning or evening, continue to receive supervision, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, cleaning, and individualized attention from our staff. Rather than considering this an extended checkout time, we’re recognizing that your dog is still enjoying another half day of daycare and personalized care with us. When booking future boarding stays, please keep your anticipated pick-up time in mind, as afternoon departures will automatically include the half-day fee.
You’ll also notice modest pricing adjustments to some of our services. These decisions are never made lightly. They allow us to continue investing in our facility, purchase new equipment, fairly compensate our incredible staff, and maintain the high standards of care you’ve come to expect from Puckett’s Pups.
We’re also excited to share what’s next. Pending approval from our zoning meeting with Danbury Township on July 15, we hope to begin the physical expansion of our facility shortly afterward. This expansion will allow us to increase our boarding capacity, create a larger lobby and retail space, improve our check-in and check-out process, and continue serving more families throughout our community.
This is an exciting chapter for Puckett’s Pups, and none of it would be possible without your continued trust and support. We’re committed to growing the right way—not simply by adding more dogs, but by continually improving the experience we provide for every family that walks through our doors.
If you have any questions about these updates, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You’re always welcome to email me, and I’d be happy to answer any questions or provide clarification. I truly value open communication and appreciate your understanding as we continue investing in the future of Puckett’s Pups.
Thank you again for allowing us to care for your four-legged family members. We can’t wait to continue growing with you and are excited for everything that’s ahead.
